Piperazine Citrate Powder 36% powder

Composition

Each sachet contains 360 mg of piperazine base as citrate. 

Indications

For the treatment of ascaridosis in all animal species,oxyuriasis and strongyliasis in horses,oesophagostomiasis in pigs, calves and sheep. 

Recommended Dosage

PIPERAZINE CITRATE powder is administered to animals either mixed with feed or added to drinking water. 

Water and feed should be withdrawn for 12 hours prior to administration of the drug. 

Poultry 0.25-0.5g/kg bw

Horses 20-30g/100 kg bw. (up to 80 g max.)

Foals,calves 2-3g/10 kg bw 

Pigs 3g/10 kg bw

Sheep 2.5-3.75g/10 kg bw

Dogs, cats 0.1-0.15g/kg bw 

For a mass treatment of pigs and poultry the drug should be added to a daily water or feed ration in the quantity of 10g to 3lof water,1 kg of feed, respectively.In general,a single dose is sufficient for the removal of all susceptible Intestinal Parasites.In case of severe parasite infestation, it is advisable to repeat the treatment after 8-14 days.
